Adventure with the stars - Jeep safari in El Gouna
A great itinerary awaits you: Between 15:00 and 16:00 (depending on where your hotel is located) we start the journey from Hurghada out into the valleys of the desert.

Numerous adventures and experiences await you there. During a 10 to 20-minute camel ride, you will explore the desert in the traditional way. Afterwards, you will learn how to bake traditional Bedouin bread with your own hands. In addition, you will observe how Bedouin women create their products using skilled craftsmanship.

Sunset and 1001 nights
The highlight of your tour comes at the end of the day: you enjoy the breathtaking sunset from a fantastic vantage point in the middle of the desert. Once night has fallen, the incredible starry sky of the desert awaits you. Now your dreams on the flying carpet and 1001 and one night will come true.
Then it's back to a Bedouin tent, where you can experience Egyptian hospitality by candlelight while the Bedouin men serve a delicious dinner and drinks.

Observe the stars 
To round off our fabulous day, our astronomer will take you on a fascinating stargazing tour. With our GPS-controlled telescope "Meade" you can explore the wonders of deep space: Stars, planets and the breathtaking sky over Hurghada on the Red Sea after sunset. Yes, we pick up all guests directly from the hotel in Hurghada and bring them back to the hotel after the tour.

For the transfer from El Gouna, Makadi Bay and Sahl Hasheesh to our destinations in Hurghada and back extra transfer fees have to be paid. From 1-4 persons 15 EUR and from 5-10 persons 20 EUR per vehicle.

The desert around Hurghada, a popular tourist town on the Red Sea in Egypt, is part of Egypt's Eastern Desert. This desert region is part of the Arabian Desert, which stretches from the Nile Plain to the Red Sea. Here are some interesting aspects and features of this desert:

Landscape and geography
The desert around Hurghada is characterized by a barren, rocky landscape with vast sandy plains, rugged mountains and deep valleys. The topography is varied, with mountain ranges reaching up to 2,187 meters (like the peak of Jebel Shayib al-Banat). These mountains are often criss-crossed by deep, dry riverbeds known as wadis.

Flora and fauna
Although the desert appears hostile at first glance, it is home to a remarkable variety of flora and fauna that are adapted to the extreme conditions. Plants such as acacia trees, desert roses and various types of cacti are able to survive in this arid environment. Various animal species such as desert foxes, gazelles and numerous reptiles and insects are also at home here.

Climatic conditions
The climate in the desert around Hurghada is extremely dry and hot. The summer months can reach temperatures of over 40 degrees Celsius, while the winter months are milder, with temperatures that can cool down considerably at night. Rainfall is extremely rare and usually occurs in the form of short, heavy downpours.
